Last updated: 3 October 2026
Who we are
Aithsense (“Aithsense”, “we”, “us”) is a cyber security company based in the United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data collected through this website, aithsense.ai.
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit the website or contact us, why we collect it and what rights you have. Questions about this policy can be sent to inquiries@aithsense.ai.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you request a proof of concept, report an incident or contact us, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, company, business email address, role, phone number, location, details of your environment (such as its size and your current SIEM) and your message.
Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the website is used, such as the pages you visit, how you arrived and general device and location information. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
Technical data. Like any website, our hosting and security providers process your IP address and basic request information to deliver pages and protect the service. The live threat intelligence on the website is loaded from our API, which processes your IP address to apply rate limits.
How we use it and our lawful bases
Under the UK GDPR we rely on the following lawful bases:
- Responding to enquiries and proof of concept requests: our legitimate interest in answering you, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- Handling incident reports: our legitimate interest in helping you respond to an active security incident as quickly as possible.
- Website analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Keeping the website and API secure: our legitimate interest in preventing abuse, fraud and attacks.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and form submissions: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless they lead to a contract.
- Incident reports: for as long as needed to support the engagement and any legal or regulatory obligations that follow.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months.
- Security and request logs: kept for short periods for operational and security purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email inquiries@aithsense.ai. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
Aithsense platform customers
This policy covers the website. Data processed by the Aithsense platform and services on behalf of our customers is governed by the customer agreement and data processing agreement in place with each customer. Our Trust page describes how we protect it.
